Muhurat Yatra Tithi :
As per the Muhurat system of Journey, the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th, 11th and 13th tithi of Shulka and Krishna Paksh are best. Even the 1st tithi of Krishna Paksh is also favourable for travelling.
Journey Naksahtra :
According to Astrology, Punarvasu, Ashwini, Punya, Hast, Shravana, Anuradha, Revati, Ghanishtha Nakshatras are believed to be the favourable nakshatras for travelling. Out of these nakshatras Hast, Ashwini, Anuradha and Punya are most auspicious nakshatras. Uttara Bhadrapad, Purva Bhadrapad, Uttarashada, Purvashada, Jayeshtha, Purva Falguni, Shatbhisha, Rohini and Mool nakshatras are regarded as average nakshatras for journey.
Muhurat Journey Day :
Auspicious days for travelling are Friday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday are not as favourable as other days. A point is to be noted, girl should not go to house of her parents or in-laws on Friday.
Muhurat Yatra Lagna
Auspicious ascendants for tour are Leo, Libra, Virgo, Scorpio, Pisces, Capricorn and Aquarius. People should avoid some pairing of ascendants and tithis such as Nanda tithi. If Libra, Leo, Scorpio and Capricorn lagnas fall on the 1st, 6th and 11th dates then people must not go to tour. Combination of Pisces and Aquarius on the 2nd, 7th and 10th dates, that is Bhadra tithi are not good for journey. People must not follow journey on the Jaya tithi when Virgo and Gemini are located on the 3rd, 8th and 13th dates. Combination of Cancer and Aries ascendants on the 4th, 9th and 14th dates that is Rikta tithi is not favourable for tour. Aquarius and Scorpio ascendants on the 5th, 10th that is Purna tithi (Full Moon days) are not good for a tour.

If people are going for business tour then they should go on Punarvasu, Bharni, Swati, Magha, Shravana, Purva Bhadrapad and Jayeshtha Nakshatras.
Muhurat Journey for marriage
People going to somewhere regarding marriage then they must go on Purva Falguni, Ardram Mool, Chitra, Uttara Bhadrapad, Kritika and Abhijit Nakshatras as these are considered to be the auspicious nakshatras.
Muhurat Journey for Nirvana
Neither life nor death is in our hand. But people who die on Mrigashira, Rohini, Revati, Hast, Uttara Falguni and Purvashada Nakshatras achieve Nirvana.
